When the throttle is open, the MAP sensor sends a signal to the computer telling it to send more fuel into the engine. When the throttle is closed, the MAP sensor sends a signal to the computer telling it to reduce the amount of fuel going into the engine. This helps to ensure that your RAM’s 2500 engine is running smoothly and efficiently.

Made To OEM Specifications. Each RAM 2500 MAP sensor is made of durable plastic and it's designed to withstand the high temperatures and vibrations that occur in the engine. It's connected to the throttle body by a metal tube and it has a small metal disk on it that rotates as the throttle opens and closes.
