Justin: The factory-style headlights that we have here today will be a perfect choice for the 2010-2018 2500 owners looking to replace some faded or damaged halogen stockers but without ultimately breaking the bank. Now, these guys will combine that bright chrome housing with a crystal clear polycarbonate lens and will be both DOT and SAE-compliant for the mid to high $100 price point.Installation, according to the site guys, is gonna get a solid one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter. Call it an hour or so to complete from start to finish, as we'll show you later in the video. So, again, I feel like these lights will be for the RAM 2500 owners who prefer the simple and clean look of a factory-style chrome light and don't need any wild styling that can sometimes be the result of a dark smoke lens or maybe some fancy LED accent lighting or all of the above. Now, instead, as the name implies here, these will adhere to the factory-style recipe which will do a great job, again, of giving that front end a solid refresh by replacing those damaged or faded stockers for just south of 200 bucks. Now, as far as your construction is concerned, you are gonna find the chromed plastic base or housing that is then topped off with a crystal clear polycarbonate lens sealed up nice and tight to help prevent any moisture condensation from getting inside the housings over time. Now, these headlights, guys, I do wanna point out, do not include any new bulbs. So, you can either swap over your stockers, if you'd like, save some money there, or, if you'd like, use this as an opportunity to upgrade to something maybe a little bit brighter.Last but not least, guys, these lights have been given both the DOT and SAE stamp of approval and that just basically means they're legal for use in all 50 states. But now we wanna shift gears and get into the install, show you what it takes to remove your stockers and then get the new chrome housings in place. So, without further ado, check out our detailed walkthrough and tool breakdown now.Man: Tools required for this install include a ratchet, a clip remover tool, a 3-inch extension, and a 10-millimeter socket. What's up, guys, today we're gonna be installing a set of headlights on our 2017 2500. So, our first step's gonna be to remove this radiator cover. So, let's get right down to it.All right, so, we have six push clips holding in the radiator cover. So, we'll take a clip remover tool and take them out. Now we can remove the radiator trim cover. All right, so, now our next step's gonna be to remove our grille. So, we have four 10-millimeter bolts holding it in up top. So, I'll take my 10-millimeter socket and get these out. And now we can remove our grille. All right, so, our next step's gonna be to remove these two 10-millimeter bolts. So, I'll take my 10-millimeter socket and get these out. Now we can move on to the next step. So, for our next step we're gonna come into the fender well. And there's this little access panel up here that you can just pull back like that. And then inside, it's kind of hard to see on camera but there's this long white clip, and we're gonna pull up on that and that's gonna release our headlight. Just like that, our headlight's released. All right, so, now that we have our tab released, we can just go ahead and pull right out on the headlight. And we can disconnect our electrical harnesses. All right, so, now that we have the headlight out, this is gonna be that white tab that we're accessing through the fender well. And you pull it down, it'll lock that headlight into place, and then pull it up and it'll let it slide out.All right, so, our next step's gonna be to transfer over our bulbs from our stock headlight to our aftermarket one. So, we have one down here and then one behind each of these covers. So, let's get to it. And just like that we can move on to our next step. All right, so, now we can install our headlight back onto the car. So, we can go ahead and connect our electrical connectors. And then we wanna make sure our white tab is on the bigger hole so we can slide that in. So, now to install the headlight on the car we wanna make sure our white clip is up in this wide position. And we can just slide it in. Then we can go around to the fender liner, pull our clip down, and lock it into place. All right, so, now we can come back to our fender liner and pull up our access panel. And then we can reach in and pull down on our clip. And now our headlight's locked into place. All right, so, now we can reinstall our hardware. So, the smaller screw is gonna go up top and longer screw's gonna go on the bottom. And we can snug those down with the 10 mil. And now we can repeat that same process on the other side. All right, so, now we can reinstall our grille. Go...the two shorter screws are gonna go in the middle. And then we'll take our two longer screws for the ends. And then we can take our 10 mil and snug them all down. And now we can reinstall our radiator cover. All right, so, now we can lay our radiator cover over and push down our push clips. So, that'll wrap up this review and install of our headlights with the Amber corner lights, chrome housing, and clear lens for your 2010 to 2018 RAM 2500 with the non-projector headlights. Thanks for watching. And remember, for all things RAM keep it right here at americantrucks.com.
