      Description

      Augmented Rear View. If you use your RAM 2500 to haul cargo, you’ve probably experienced some difficulty with visibility on your rearview mirror. Considering driving with an obstructed rear view is less than ideal, you need the FullVUE Commercial Camera Mirror System. This system replaces your factory rearview mirror with an HD rear camera and camera mirror assembly that works as an always-on video monitor. In doing so, this system enables you to monitor the entirety of your rear, from your cargo to your hitch. Additionally, this system works independently of other devices, meaning you don’t need to have a touchscreen stereo head unit. And when necessary, the camera mirror can function as a regular rearview mirror.

      Progressive Design. This system features a head unit that’s both a standard 9.66-inch rearview mirror and a touchscreen video monitor. When working as a touchscreen monitor, this unit delivers a 1,980 x 320 resolution and a 170-degree horizontal field of view. This factor enables you to get crystal clear images out of the included 30 FPS, 1080p resolution rear camera. Likewise, the camera mirror’s progressive scrollable function gives you a 150-degree vertical field of view. What’s more, the camera mirror assembly comes integrated with a 25 FPS, 1080p front-facing recording camera with an integrated G-shock sensor. This camera automatically starts recording when it senses an impact for added security in the event of an accident.

      Tough Build Quality. This system’s camera mirror is equipped with an anti-glare tempered glass screen, offering exceptional durability and ultra-clear images. Similarly, its housing is made from tough high-quality automotive-grade plastic using an advanced injection-molding process. What’s more, the mirror and housing are expertly sealed, giving you an OE-grade fit and finish.

      Direct Install Procedure. This system’s camera mirror installs directly onto your truck’s factory rearview mirror location without the need for modifications. However, you will need to perform some wiring work to connect this system with your truck’s electronics. Also, minor drilling is necessary to mount the rear camera. Please note that this system will only work with the included rear camera.

      Application. The FullVUE Commercial Camera Mirror System fits all RAM 2500 models.
