It replaces the factory cylinder head with upgraded components to improve reliability and reduce coolant leaks. This cylinder head is ideal for those seeking a dependable upgrade suitable for daily driving or towing.

      Construction and Appearance. Manufactured with hardened, oversized press-in valve seats and new valve guide liners, the cylinder head offers robust internal components. It is fully assembled and painted to provide a clean, finished look while protecting against corrosion. The inclusion of 11 screw-in freeze plugs further ensures coolant leak prevention under the valve cover.

      Installation. Installation requires following detailed instructions, including proper valve lash adjustment, with no drilling needed. Using aftermarket head studs may require rocker box cover modifications to accommodate fitment.

      Warranty. This product includes a 1 Year Limited Parts Warranty.

      Application. Specifically fits the 98.5-02 5.9L I6 RAM 2500 with VP 24V Cummins engines. No head gasket is included; Cummins 3977063 head gasket is recommended for installation.
