Its flexible construction allows it to be easily shaped to fit firewalls, transmission tunnels, floors, and other areas requiring heat protection, making it an essential part for automotive thermal management.
_x000D_Construction and Appearance. The shield features an embossed 10 mil aluminum face bonded to a 1/8" composite glass-fiber core, finished with a proprietary high-temperature black coating. This provides durability and heat resistance up to 1750°F on the aluminum side, combined with a sleek, flexible black finish that maintains integrity under extreme conditions.
_x000D_Installation. Installation is straightforward with a peel-and-stick adhesive backing that is resistant to wind and water. No drilling is required, and the aggressive adhesive ensures secure attachment to various surfaces for easy application and reliable performance.
