      The 2009–18 Ram 1500, 2500, 3500 Tailgate Rear Spoiler is a wing-like structure that is mounted on the top edge of the tailgate of a Ram pickup truck. This spoiler is designed to improve the aerodynamics of the truck and give it a more sporty and aggressive look. The purpose of the spoiler is to disrupt the airflow over the back of the truck, which can reduce drag and increase fuel efficiency. Additionally, the spoiler can create a downward force, called downforce or negative lift, which can improve stability and traction, especially at higher speeds.
