The transmission filter prevents metal shavings from the gears and other debris from polluting the transmission fluid. Crown Automotive has the perfect Automatic Transmission Filter Kit that includes everything needed to service the transmission filter on your RAM 2500.
Built To OEM Specs. Crown has engineered their transmission filter kit to OEM specifications, so with this part, you can expect the exact fit, function, and reliable performance as the factory unit. The kit components have been made from solid materials, including black fiber, rubber, metal, and plastic.
Bolt-On Installation. As the kit is made to an OEM fit, it installs easily. The process includes unbolting the transmission pan. Be sure to have something to catch the transmission fluid, then remove the transmission filter. At this point, it's a good idea to cleanthe transmission area and mating surface. Once some transmission fluid has been applied to the filter's seal, it can be bolted on.
12-Month Or 12,000-Mile Warranty. Crown has backed its filter kit with a 12-month or 12,000-mile warranty starting from its received date.
