Description
Keep Cool and Dry. Keep your head cool and your interiors dry when you equip your RAM 1500 with these Tape-On Smoke Front and Rear Rain Guards. These rain guards are designed to extend the coverage of your upper window sills, allowing you to lower your windows slightly during light rains. By doing so, these guards encourage fresh air to circulate inside your cab while preventing your interiors from getting wet. Additionally, these components act as sun visors, helping reduce glare during sunny days.
Resilient Build Quality. These front and rear rain guards are made from premium acrylic using an advanced injection molding technique. The result is a set of guards that offer superior resistance to cracking over time as well as an OE-level fit and finish. What’s more, these components come in a smoke finish that offers loads of style while also helping reduce the sun’s glare.
Trouble-Free Install Procedure. These front and rear rain guards come preinstalled with automotive-grade double-sided adhesive tape, making installation a trouble-free peel-and-stick process. Before installation, it is suggested that you should thoroughly clean and dry the mounting surfaces before wiping them down with a clean rag moistened with alcohol or acetone. This is to encourage proper adhesion of the tape to your truck. Also, when installing these rain guards during the winter months, warm up the mounting surfaces first to about 60 degrees Fahrenheit, as the adhesive works best on warmer surfaces. This can be accomplished with a hairdryer or heat gun.
