High-Strength, Cast Iron Rotors. PowerStop manufactured the Front and Rear Rotors in this Z36 Brake Kit for your extreme off-road activities. Each piece exhibits high structural integrity with its tough, premium cast iron construction. Its high-quality construction ensures high thermal capacity and resistance to distortion. Additionally, the protective zinc coating reinforces thermal crack resistance and high-temperature strength.
Drilled and Slotted. The front and rear rotors in this Z36 Extreme Truck and Tow 6-Lug Brake Kit are furnished with precision drilled holes for maximum heat dissipation. This design keeps your brake temperatures down, especially during extreme driving conditions. The slots offer consistent contact between the rotor and pad, while significantly reducing harmonic resonance issues. This design combination also facilitates easy sweeping away of gases and dust for enhanced friction.
Severe-Duty Z36 Brake Pads. This Z36 Extreme Truck and Tow 6-Lug Brake Kit features a carbon-fiber reinforced ceramic formula for exceptionally reliable, fade-free braking power. This high-friction compound offers enhanced stopping power with dramatic and repeatable performance. These brake pads are intended to provide you with severe-duty stopping power without sacrificing everyday drivability.
Low-Dust and Noise-Free Operations. PowerStop engineered this kit with noise-insulating rubberized shims integrated into the Z36 Brake Pads. These shims will ensure that your brakes work almost silently. The pads are also specially formulated to produce less dust than stock pads. Moreover, these brake pads resist rust and corrosion, ultimately extending the brake pads’ lifespan, thanks to the powder coated backing plate design.
Bolt-On Upgrade. This Z36 Extreme Truck and Tow 6-Lug Brake Kit installs with standard hand tools and moderate mechanical skills. It comes with the necessary hardware to complete the bolt-on installation that uses your truck’s factory mounting locations.
