This kit includes rotors and pads designed to improve braking power for daily driving situations. Additionally, the rotors feature a stylish silver-gray finish courtesy of their specialized GEOMET coating to give your wheel are a stylish look.
Rigid Cast Iron Rotors. The included rotors are constructed from premium iron using an advanced casting method for superior strength and extreme resistance to heat. These rotors are then machined and mill-balanced, offering an exceptional braking feel. Finally, these rotors receive the aforementioned silver-gray GEOMET coating for optimum corrosion protection and awesome looks.
Vented Rotor Configuration. The kit’s included rotors include internal vents in their construction. These vents are designed to channel air for more efficient brake cooling. Also, their smooth rotor face design provides a wide surface area for excellent pad bite. These factors work to ensure consistent fade-free braking.
Progressive Z17 Carbon-Fiber Ceramic Brake Pads. This kit also comes with Z17 brake pads that utilize a specialty ceramic braking compound. This braking compound is specially formulated to improve braking over stock. Likewise, this compound is more resistant to heat to provide more reliable stopping power and excellent brake pad bite.
Minimized Dust and Noise. The pads’ ceramic braking compound is also engineered to generate significantly less dust when compared to stock. This means less time spent cleaning your wheels. What’s more, these pads come with an OE chamfered and slotted design as well as dual layers of rubberized shims. These factors help reduce braking noise for a more relaxing ride.
