The Pacbrake DirectMount 4-Inch PRXB High Performance Exhaust Brake Kit for OnBoard Air is designed to significantly increase engine braking power, improving vehicle control and safety, especially on steep declines. This exhaust brake utilizes air actuation combined with a patented butterfly valve to provide effective backpressure, helping reduce brake wear and enhance overall driving confidence.

      Construction and Appearance. The system features components coated with an industry-exclusive Arcor nitride finish, enhancing durability by providing excellent resistance to wear and corrosion. The brake housing and internal parts are engineered for severe duty applications and built to meet military specifications, ensuring long-lasting performance under harsh operating conditions.

      Installation. Installation requires vehicles to have existing onboard air systems as the kit itself does not include the air supply. The setup is straightforward for technicians familiar with air-actuated systems and does not typically require drilling or significant modifications.

      Warranty. This product includes a warranty as specified by the manufacturer to protect against defects and ensure customer satisfaction.

      Application. Specifically designed to fit 2004.5-2007 5.9L RAM 2500 with manual transmission and 2006-2007 5.9L RAM 2500 with 48RE automatic transmission. It is not compatible with Banks Turbo Back Monster Exhaust systems.
