Forged Steel Gears. Nitro Gear & Axle manufactures premium ring and pinion gears. Each one is made with forged 8620 steel. The gears are heat-treated for maximum durability and CNC-triple-lapped to form precision gears with optimal backlash. Meanwhile, the kit comes with premium branded bearings from Timken and Koyo to ensure a quiet and lasting performance for years to come.
Speedometer Reprogramming. Expect that the change of gear ratio would affect the accuracy of your speedometer reading. As such, you’ll need to update the wheel size and gear ratio using a hand-held tuner after the installation.
