      Construction and Appearance. Manufactured with a steel core construction and graphite faced sealing surfaces, these header gaskets are designed to withstand demanding operating conditions. The expanded steel core provides maximum torque retention, while the high recovery material design conforms to minor surface irregularities for improved sealing effectiveness. Excellent heat resistance and thermal conductivity help maintain gasket integrity, and the material can be trimmed for modified port applications when needed.
