      Description

      High-Performance Reverse Lighting. The Morimoto Backup Light Boost Bar delivers powerful illumination designed to dramatically enhance rear visibility when reversing. This high-output LED bar mounts to standard license plate holes to amplify your vehicle’s reverse lights, improving safety and clarity in low-light conditions. Note that this product’s output exceeds the legal limit for reverse light applications and is intended for off-road or show use only.

      Construction and Appearance. The light bar features a rugged, powdercoated die-cast aluminum housing for superior durability and resistance to the elements, meeting IP69K standards for water and dust protection. A UV-coated, optical-grade polycarbonate lens provides a focused 45-degree beam pattern for efficient light distribution, finished in a sleek satin black for a clean, factory-quality look.

      Installation. Installation uses the existing US and Canadian license plate mounting points. Some adaptation may be required depending on the vehicle, and a pass-through hole or grommet may be needed for wiring. Plug-and-play wiring compatibility is included for seamless integration with compatible tail lights or standard reverse light circuits using the provided wire tap kit.

      Warranty. This product includes a five year limited warranty for peace of mind and long-term reliability.

      Application. Fits universal license plate mounts with some adaptation required; however, it is not compatible with 2019 and newer Ram 1500 models due to bumper design constraints.
