This combo simplifies vehicle recovery by allowing fast, secure tow setups without removing shackles from the vehicle, making it essential for off-road enthusiasts.
Construction and Appearance. Featuring a patented split "J" shackle made of forged carbon steel and a warm forged 6082 aluminum receiver, this combo is engineered for strength and durability. The shackle boasts a powder-coated finish in vibrant color options with a black nickel-plated pin, while the receiver is anodized for UV and weather resistance, ensuring longevity in harsh environments.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no drilling, with the shackle pin secured by metric cap screws compatible with common 1/4" socket wrenches. This tool-less mounting procedure facilitates fast attachment or removal even on the trail.
Application. Designed for universal fitment with some adaptation, this combo fits any 2.0 or 2.5 inch D-Ring receiver hitch mounts with a 7/8" pin hole and mount width of 1.25" or less, making it adaptable to a wide range of off-road vehicles.
