This combination provides a secure and reliable connection point for towing and recovery tasks, ensuring safety and convenience in demanding off-road environments.
Construction and Appearance. The shackle is constructed from carbon steel with a powder-coated finish for durability and corrosion resistance, featuring an innovative Two Finger Spin Pin design with a stainless steel lanyard to prevent lost pins. The receiver is warm forged from 6082 aluminum with a weather-proof anodized red coating, manufactured with grain flow orientation to maximize strength, and finished with large radius edges to protect recovery gear from abrasion.
Installation. Installation is straightforward, requiring no drilling thanks to the two hitch pin holes that allow for versatile mounting positions. The included spacer enables receiver rotation for compatibility with Class I/II hitch balls, simplifying integration with existing hitch setups.
