Description
Performance Upgrade. The Mishimoto Hot-Side Intercooler Pipe and Boot Kit; Wrinkle Black enhances airflow by replacing the restrictive factory pipe with mandrel-bent aluminum pipes and eliminating the stock resonator. This upgrade improves engine power and efficiency by reducing airflow restriction in the intercooler system, a critical component in turbocharged diesel engines.
_x000D_Construction and Appearance. The kit features 3.0-inch diameter mandrel-bent aluminum pipes that provide smooth airflow with minimal bends. The hot-side pipes are finished with a wrinkle-black powder coat that offers a durable, textured appearance resistant to heat and corrosion. The silicone boots utilize DuraCore technology for superior resistance to heat, pressure, fuel, and oil, ensuring long-lasting leak and blowout protection.
_x000D_Installation. Installation difficulty is medium and straightforward with no additional tuning required. The kit is a direct bolt-on replacement that does not require drilling except for optionally tapping the included bung for additional sensors.
