Advanced Design. This Mishimoto kit’s advanced design consists of a re-designed intercooler core that offers a 46% percent increase in volume and larger, free-flowing intercooler pipes. The result is a system that reduces restriction by 24% for higher velocity air flow. Moreover, the intercooler’s external fin surface area is increased by 49% to cool down air much faster. These engineered elements combine to deliver maximum cold air to your engine.
Hardwearing Aluminum Build Quality. This Mishimoto intercooler features core and end tanks made from high-quality aluminum alloy, offering maximum strength and exceptional heat exchange at a reduced weight. What’s more, the cast end tanks are skillfully TIG welded onto the core, further improving rigidity and performance. Meanwhile, the intercooler pipes are mandrel-bent from 2.83-inch wide aluminum tubing, eliminating any turbulence-producing areas from their inner surfaces. Finally, the intercooler and its pipes are finished in a tough black powder coat finish, providing aggressive under-the-hood looks.
