Description
Rear Lowering Shackles. The Max Trac 1-Inch Drop Shackles are designed to lower the rear suspension of compatible trucks by one inch. These shackles enhance the vehicle’s stance and handling by adjusting the rear ride height. They are commonly used in lowering or leveling kits to achieve a smooth, lowered look while maintaining reliable suspension performance.
Construction and Appearance. These shackles are made from durable steel and finished with a grey powder coat for corrosion resistance and a clean, professional appearance. The powder coat provides a protective layer that enhances longevity under harsh conditions.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and does not require drilling, making it accessible for professional installers and skilled enthusiasts. The shackles include self-tapping grease fittings to facilitate proper maintenance and extend the life of the bushings.
Application. Specifically designed for 2011-2017 Silverado 3500 HD models. These shackles are not compatible with hybrid models, Tremor versions, or models equipped with CCD suspension or BlueCruise systems. Use with wheels no wider than 9 inches and a minimum of 4.5 inches backspacing to avoid warranty issues.
