Description
Rear Suspension Lowering. The Max Trac 2-Inch Rear Lowering Shackles offer an effective way to lower the rear suspension on compatible Silverado and Sierra 1500 trucks. This product creates a 2-inch drop in ride height, allowing for a customized stance.
Construction and Appearance. Made from strong steel, these shackles are built for durability and feature a grey powder-coated finish that enhances corrosion resistance and delivers a clean, professional look.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires basic mechanical skills. The shackles bolt directly into place using existing hardware and do not require drilling. Note that 2-degree shims may be necessary if vibration occurs after installation.
Application and Fitment. These shackles are designed for 2019 to 2026 Silverado and Sierra 1500 models. They exclude vehicles equipped with monoleaf rear springs and are not compatible with models featuring Adaptive Ride Control systems without a special part. Use of wheels wider than 9 inches or with backspacing less than 4.5 inches may affect manufacturer warranty coverage related to that usage.
