Description
Universal Catalytic Converter. The Magnaflow Universal Catalytic Converter; OEM Grade; 3-Inch; Rear provides effective emissions control designed to keep your vehicle’s check engine light off. This converter is suitable for a variety of vehicles and plays a vital role in reducing harmful exhaust emissions to meet federal environmental standards.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed from durable 16 gauge 409 stainless steel tubing with a spun stainless steel body, this catalytic converter features single laser fusion welds for exceptional leak resistance. Its compact, low-mass design enhances thermal efficiency, finished in corrosion-resistant stainless steel for long-lasting performance.
Installation. Installation requires professional welding, as no clamps or mounting hardware are included. The universal design allows placement flexibility, but care must be taken to ensure proper orientation and fitment.
Warranty. This product is backed by a limited 25,000-mile emissions warranty and a 5-year construction warranty, providing confidence in its durability and compliance.
Application. Specifically compatible with the 2011 through 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD equipped with the 6.0L engine. It is not legal for sale or installation in California, Colorado, or New York due to local emissions regulations.
