Description
Direct-Fit Catalytic Converter. The Magnaflow Direct-Fit Catalytic Converter; HM Grade is designed to replace your vehicle’s original catalytic converter to maintain Federal/EPA compliance. It helps manage check engine light illumination by effectively reducing harmful exhaust emissions while supporting proper engine and fuel performance.
Construction and Appearance. This catalytic converter is crafted from durable, corrosion-resistant 308 and 409 stainless steel with MIG welds for long-lasting strength. The clam-shell body features a stainless steel finish and includes an aluminized steel heat shield to protect against heat damage. Mandrel bent tubing and laser fusion welds replicate OEM specifications for optimal exhaust flow and leak prevention.
Installation. Installation requires no cutting, welding, or drilling. A single Torca clamp is included to help secure the converter. Precise fitment is achieved through advanced 3D scanning, allowing for straightforward installation that matches original equipment specifications.
Warranty. This product comes with both an emissions warranty and a construction warranty for added confidence in its durability and compliance.
Application. Designed for 2002-2003 Dodge Ram 1500 models with 3.7L V6 and 4.7L V8 engines, the product is federal EPA compliant but not certified for sale or installation in California, Colorado, or New York.
