Description

Construction and Appearance. Crafted from high-strength 16 gauge 409 stainless steel tubing with durable 308 stainless steel MIG welds, it features a clam-shell body with a stainless steel finish. An aluminized steel heat shield provides additional durability and protection.
Installation. Installation requires welding, and the compact, lightweight design allows fitting in confined areas. Professional installation is recommended since clamps and mounting hardware are not included.
Warranty. This catalytic converter is backed by construction and emissions warranties, ensuring long-lasting reliability.
Application. Designed as a universal catalytic converter and listed for use on 1987-1988 Dakota models with the 2.2L engine, with welding required for installation. It is not legal for sale or installation in California, Colorado, or New York.
