Description
Universal Catalytic Converter. The Magnaflow Universal Catalytic Converter; California Grade CARB Compliant; 2-Inch is designed to reduce harmful emissions while keeping the check engine light off. This converter is used as a replacement part for various vehicles requiring compliance with California Air Resources Board standards to ensure legal and efficient emissions control.
Construction and Appearance. Made from high strength 16 gauge 409 stainless steel tubing and featuring a spun stainless steel body with a stainless steel finish, this catalytic converter offers exceptional corrosion resistance and durability. The construction includes a single laser fusion weld and durable 308 stainless steel MIG welds, delivering a compact and lightweight design suitable for installation in tight spaces.
Installation. Installation requires professional welding and does not include clamps or hangers, making it moderately challenging and suitable for experienced installers. The universal design allows placement in a precise location as needed by the vehicle.
Warranty. This product includes a construction and emissions warranty ensuring reliability and performance.
Application. Specifically fits 07-09 Dakota models, designed to meet California CARB standards and comply with the Executive Order number D-193-197 for legal use in restricted states.
