      Description

      Universal Catalytic Converter. The Magnaflow Universal Catalytic Converter, California Grade CARB Compliant with 2.50-Inch inlet and outlet, helps reduce harmful vehicle emissions and ensures compliance with California Air Resources Board (CARB) standards. It is designed for replacement applications and is essential in maintaining proper emission control system function and preventing check engine light activation.

      Construction and Appearance. Made from high strength 16 gauge 409 stainless steel tubing with a clam-shell body design, this converter features durable 308 stainless steel MIG welds. It has a corrosion-resistant stainless steel finish and an attached heat shield constructed from aluminized steel for enhanced thermal protection.

      Installation. Requires cutting and welding due to the weld-on inlet and outlet. Professional installation is recommended to ensure proper fitment, as additional fabrication or drilling may be necessary.

      Warranty. Includes a limited 5-year construction and emissions warranty.

      Application. Fits 96-00 3.9L Dakota models.
