      Heavy-Duty Tie Rods. The Kryptonite Products Death Grip Outer Tie Rod Ends provide a robust steering upgrade, designed to endure the rigorous demands of lifted or stock heavy-duty trucks. They replace weaker OEM components to deliver enhanced durability and improved handling, especially in off-road or demanding environments.

      Construction and Appearance. These tie rods feature a solid 1-1/4” hexagon steel body combined with heat-treated chromoly nickel outer studs and all-steel inner ball sockets. The components are pre-greased with premium Chevron Ultra EP2 grease and finished with a black powder coat and laser engraving to resist corrosion and wear.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward with bolt-on compatibility for factory-style center links. No drilling is required, though minor modifications to sway bar end links may be necessary due to the oversized tie rod design.
