The Kryptonite Products Heavy Duty Front Wheel Bearing and Hub Assembly is engineered to deliver superior durability and performance for demanding heavy duty truck applications. It provides reliable front wheel support and integrates a heavy-duty ABS sensor designed to maintain signal accuracy in heat, mud, and moisture, ensuring safety and stability during driving and braking. This assembly is essential for trucks requiring boosted strength to handle lifted suspensions, oversized tires, and heavy towing loads.
Construction and Appearance. Manufactured with grade 10.9 cold-formed zinc-plated studs for exceptional tensile strength and corrosion protection, this assembly features a tapered roller bearing design with high-performance grease for maintenance-free operation. A full e-coating protects all surfaces against rust and corrosion, making it durable in harsh salted-road and off-road conditions. The finished hub assembly combines functional engineering with a robust, corrosion-resistant coating.
Installation. This complete bolt-in wheel bearing hub assembly is designed as a direct fit for both right and left spindles, requiring no drilling or modifications. Installation is straightforward with an average completion time of about two hours for someone with moderate mechanical skills. The package includes torque specifications: Axle Nut: 177 lb·ft, Spindle Bolts: 133 lb·ft, and Main Caliper Bolts: 221 lb·ft.
