This K&N Series 63 AirCharger Cold Air Intake allows denser, more oxygen-rich air to be forced into your engine, resulting in more complete detonations, giving more power and torque, better mileage, and a deeper exhaust note. K&N Dyno testing before and after the addition of this kit resulted in 15.6 additional horsepower and 17.5 additional foot-pounds of torque at the rear wheels.Â
Filtration is Key. The large diameter high-flow conical oiled cotton air filter is critical to a successful cold air intake. As fresh air is drawn into the engine from outside the engine bay, this also includes more moisture and debris. To prevent costly damage, K&N relies on 60 years of experience with washable filters that excel in protecting your engine while remaining a lifetime serviceable part.Â
K&N: Industry-Leading Performance. This K&N Series 63 AirCharger Cold Air Intake kit replaces the restrictive OEM air intake with a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) rotationally-molded tube to increase airflow volume to your engine. At the same time, a custom heat shield helps protect intake air from the high temperature of your engine bay. The complete kit takes about 90 minutes to install and contains everything needed to retain the OEM air temperature sensor and crankcase ventilation tube.Â
Made in the USA. An increase in power is guaranteed, and the kit also comes with a 10-Year, Million-Mile warranty from K&N. Cleaning the filter is necessary every 100,000 miles under normal driving conditions.Â
Application. This K&N AirCharger Intake system fits all 2013-2018 RAM 2500 models with the 5.7L HEMI Engine. However, this kit may not fit lifted trucks.
