      Description

      Leveled-Up Performance. Take your Sierra 1500’s performance to the next level when you upgrade to the K&N Blackhawk Cold Air Intake. This cold air intake replaces your truck’s often restrictive factory air system with one that features a more free-flowing design. This system, when combined with the high-flow air filter, ensures your engine gets large amounts of cold, clean air for total fuel combustion. The result is performance gains you can feel.

      Added Power Without the ECU Re-Tune. This cold air intake enhances performance via its specialized design and does not need an ECU re-tune. That being said, getting an ECU re-tune in the future will always be beneficial to your truck, as it will maximize the intake’s full potential.

      High-Performance Dry Air Filter. This cold air intake includes a dry air filter that offers excellent filtration without compromising airflow. This filter uses a black-colored non-woven synthetic filter media that requires less maintenance after about 100,000 miles, depending on driving conditions. This feature saves you both time spent in your garage and money spent on regular filter replacement. Come maintenance time though, this air filter cleans easily using an appropriate air filter cleaning kit.

      Heavy-Duty Build Quality. The cold air intake’s inlet tube is manufactured from high-grade aluminum alloy for strength and corrosion resistance. This inlet tube is mandrel-bent ensuring a turbulence-free inner structure while also adding rigidity. Likewise, the included heat shield features a high-grade alloy construction and effectively protects the air filter from damaging engine bay heat. Lastly, this intake features a black powder coat finish that, when combined with the black-colored filter gives your engine bay a stark, aggressive look.

      Simple Installation. The K&N cold air intake is designed to install into the location of your truck’s factory air system. No modifications to your truck are needed. Additionally, all necessary mounting hardware is included for convenience.
