Description
Oil Separator Functionality. The J&L 3.0 Oil Separator, Clear/Satin Anodized, is engineered to protect your engine by capturing and separating oil vapors from the PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) system's dirty side. This reduces oil contamination in the intake system, helping preserve engine performance and minimizing deposits that can impact combustion efficiency and cause maintenance issues.
Construction and Appearance. Made from solid billet aluminum, this oil separator offers durability along with a corrosion-resistant clear satin anodized finish. Its fine mesh stainless steel filter efficiently traps oil vapors and converts them into liquid oil for collection. The knurled base facilitates easy removal for draining, supported by an O-ring seal to reduce the risk of leaks.
Installation. Installation is straightforward, requiring no specialized tools or drilling. The plug-and-play design integrates seamlessly with the existing PCV system, using OEM-compatible hoses to maintain factory appearance and function.
Warranty. This oil separator is covered by a limited lifetime warranty, underscoring its quality construction and reliability over time.
