When upgrading to our UConnect 5 unit, please note that vehicles not originally equipped with a UConnect 5 system will lose USB media access. However, phone charging capabilities and wireless features will still be available.
The factory bezel comes pre-equipped with heated seat buttons, just as it would have been from the factory. If your truck doesn't have heated seats, these buttons will not be functional.

Pre-programmed to function with your vehicle's existing SiriusXM satellite radio feature. If you would like to add SiriusXM satellite radio, you have options:
- Ram 1500 – Purchase our Ram 1500 SiriusXM Satellite Radio Antenna sold separately. Remove & replace the antenna located on the roof.
- Ram Heavy Duty – SiriusXM capability is gained after installing the included kit using the existing roof mounted antenna.
Be sure to contact SiriusXM after installing the upgrade to transfer or begin service on your newly installed radio.
Pre-programmed to function with your vehicle's existing digital back-up rear view camera.
Pre-programmed to function with your vehicle's existing UConnect® Bluetooth hands-free calling feature. Simply re-pair your phone after installing the upgrade.
⛔ This upgrade is currently not compatible with any 2019+ Rams that have an 8.4″ UAV screen.
⛔ The Uconnect 5 system is not compatible with the factory remote CD player feature.
⛔ If your Ram is equipped with a manual transmission, engaging the reverse gear will no longer activate the rear backup camera. To access the camera feed, press your dedicated camera button.
