Easy Install Procedure. This hood protector comes preinstalled with 3M automotive-grade double-sided adhesive backing, so installation is an easy peel-and-stick process. Before installation, you will need to clean and dry the hood thoroughly before wiping the mounting surface down with the included alcohol and surface prep wipes respectively. It is also recommended to warm up the mounting surface to between 60 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit for maximum adhesion. Please do not drive your vehicle for 24 hours, and do not wash for 72 hours after installation of this hood protector. This is to allow the adhesive to be completely set.
