They reduce engine bay noise and protect custom painted hoods from excessive heat, ensuring a quieter ride and enhanced surface protection. This product is ideal for withstanding extreme temperature ranges in demanding engine-side environments.

      Construction and Appearance. These hoodliner pads feature a proprietary butyl rubber compound with a self-adhesive backing laminated to a flexible, paintable aluminum foil layer. The pads are black polymer on the adhesive side, with a silver 4 mil aluminum foil backing, and measure 2.0 mm thick. Their heavy-duty construction resists deformation and maintains adhesion under high heat conditions up to 550 degrees Fahrenheit.
