      Description

Heavy-Duty Thermal Insulation. The Hushmat Ultra Hoodliner Heat Reflective Pads, measuring 12 inches by 23 inches, provide robust thermal insulation designed specifically for high heat and rugged environments under vehicle hoods. These pads block excessive engine heat from reaching the hood, protecting custom paint jobs and reducing overall heat transfer to improve vehicle comfort and hood longevity.

Construction and Appearance. Made with a proprietary butyl rubber compound laminated to a flexible, paintable aluminum foil backing, these pads feature a durable, heavy-duty 2.0 mm thickness designed to withstand temperatures up to 550°F. The black polymer surface combined with the silver aluminum backing enhances heat reflectivity and resilience against environmental stresses.

Installation. Installation is straightforward, requiring no special tools or harsh chemical surface preparation. The self-adhesive material easily molds to complex hood surfaces, enabling a secure bond without drilling or hardware, making it accessible for both professional and DIY applications.

Application. This product fits universally across various vehicle makes and models, though some adaptation may be necessary for optimal installation and fit. It is ideal for use on universal hoods requiring heat insulation in automotive and truck applications.
