The Gen-Y Hitch The BOSS Torsion-Flex 16K Adjustable 2.50-Inch Receiver Hitch Dual-Ball Mount with Pintle Lock; 9-Inch Drop is designed to provide superior towing performance with built-in suspension that significantly smooths out trailer motion. This hitch absorbs shocks and reduces trailer sway, improving control, safety, and fuel efficiency during towing operations. It is ideal for heavy-duty applications, including construction, government, and oilfield fleet vehicles.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed from heavy-duty steel, the hitch is coated with a durable silver-vein powder coat that resists corrosion and enhances longevity. Heavy-duty rubber torsion-flex cords provide advanced shock absorption. The design and engineering were accomplished using SOLIDWORKS software, ensuring precision and reliability.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and does not require drilling. It is designed to fit standard 2.5 or 3-inch receivers depending on vehicle specification. Confirming receiver size prior to installation is recommended to ensure optimal fit.
Warranty. The product features a 5-year warranty on rubber components and a limited lifetime warranty on all remaining components, providing long-term assurance of quality.
Application. Fits universal; some adaptation may be required. Special note: 3-inch receivers are only compatible with select Ford models manufactured after 2017, so verifying receiver size before purchase is advised.
