      Description

      Performance Upgrade. The FOX Front 2.5 IFP 6.5 inch Lift shock is engineered to enhance suspension performance on trucks lifted by 6.5 inches. It provides position-sensitive rebound control and damping that adjusts to on-road and off-road driving conditions, resulting in improved ride comfort and handling stability. This shock absorber is especially advantageous when upgrading to heavier, aggressive tires and lifts beyond OEM specifications.

      Construction and Appearance. Constructed with a durable 2.5” impact extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body, this shock features a Type II clear-anodized finish for corrosion resistance and efficient heat dissipation. The high-flow, velocity-sensitive damping system includes a 5/8” hard chrome shaft, internal floating piston (IFP), and a hydraulic top out (HTO) piston to optimize damping performance.

      Installation. This bolt-on shock installs easily without the need for drilling. It is designed to fit vehicles equipped with raised torsion systems that require lower eyelet mounting and is not compatible with original equipment mounts.
