Description
Performance Race Header. The Flowtech 1-5/8-Inch Shorty Headers in Black Painted finish enhance exhaust flow and throttle response for 5.3L and 6.2L LT engines found in select 2014-2015 GM trucks and SUVs. Designed to replace factory exhaust manifolds, these headers improve engine efficiency and power delivery for racing use or off-road vehicles.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from mandrel-bent 409 stainless steel tubing with heavy-duty 16-gauge walls, these headers ensure durability and consistent exhaust velocity. The header flange is TIG-welded and machined 3/8 inch thick to provide a leak-free and robust connection. Finished with a satin black painted coat, the header offers corrosion resistance and an aggressive appearance.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with a bolt-on design requiring no cutting, welding, or drilling. The OE-style 2-1/2 inch ball and socket collector easily mates to the factory exhaust head pipe, simplifying the upgrade process.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 2014-2015 Yukon models equipped with 5.3L or 6.2L LT engines. Intended for racing use only, this product is not legal for street or emissions-controlled vehicle installation.
