Description
High-Performance Muffler. The Flowmaster Super 40 Series Offset/Center Oval Muffler features a 2.50-inch inlet and 2.50-inch outlet designed to deliver enhanced exhaust flow and a deep, aggressive sound ideal for street and strip applications. It is engineered to improve performance, especially suited for forced induction and high horsepower vehicles, balancing power and sound with noticeable interior resonance.
Construction and Appearance. Made from 16-gauge 409 stainless steel with full MIG welds for maximum durability, this muffler is finished in black high-temperature paint that resists corrosion for long-lasting performance and a sleek appearance. Its oval shape complements both function and style.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with slip-fit inlet and outlet connections that accommodate clamp-on or weld-on methods. No drilling is required to install the muffler itself. It uses new hangers that are not included.
Fitment and Application. Designed as a universal fit muffler requiring some adaptation, it suits a wide variety of vehicles including muscle cars, trucks, and SUVs. This muffler meets the demands of street, strip, and performance exhaust systems on classic and late model muscle cars as well as street rods and 4/6 cylinder engines.
