Description
Chambered Performance Muffler. The Flowmaster Original 40 Series Offset/Center Oval Muffler features a 2.50-inch inlet and 2.50-inch outlet, designed to deliver an aggressive exterior exhaust tone with noticeable interior resonance. It is ideal for street, strip, and off-road applications, enhancing exhaust sound while maintaining reliable performance.
Construction and Appearance. Built from durable, fully welded 16-gauge aluminized steel, the muffler features a black high-temperature paint finish that ensures longevity and resistance to corrosion. Its chambered design contributes to its distinctive sound characteristics.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with slip-fit inlet and outlet connections requiring no drilling. Mounting uses new hangers which are not included, so some adaptation may be necessary depending on vehicle setup.
