Description
Performance Muffler. The Flowmaster Super 40 Series Offset/Offset Oval Muffler; 2.50-Inch Inlet/2.50-Inch Outlet is designed to enhance exhaust flow while providing an aggressive, deep sound ideal for street and strip applications. This muffler excels in high horsepower and forced induction vehicles, delivering a powerful exhaust note with low interior resonance thanks to Delta Flow® technology.
Construction and Appearance. Built from 16 gauge 409S stainless steel, this muffler is fully MIG welded to ensure long-lasting durability. The body features a high-temperature paint finish that resists heat and corrosion, preserving its appearance and performance under demanding conditions.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with slip-fit connections compatible with clamp-on or weld-on methods. Some adaptation may be required to fit specific exhaust systems, but no extensive modifications are typically necessary.
Application. This muffler features universal fitment, suitable for a wide range of vehicles with some adaptation as needed. It is legal for use on emissions-controlled vehicles as it does not adversely affect vehicle emissions.
