Description
Performance Muffler Features. The Flowmaster Super 40 Series Offset/Offset Oval Muffler with 2.25-inch inlet and 2.25-inch outlet delivers a deep, aggressive exhaust note designed to enhance the sound and performance of high horsepower vehicles. Engineered for street and strip use, it incorporates race-proven Delta Flow technology to optimize exhaust flow while minimizing interior resonance.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed from durable 16 gauge aluminized steel, this muffler is fully MIG welded for maximum strength and longevity. It features a larger case profile finished in black high-temperature paint, providing both enhanced performance and an attractive appearance.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with slip-fit inlet and outlet connections, accommodating both clamp-on or weld-on mounting methods. New hangers are required but not included. Some adaptation may be necessary to ensure a secure fit on specific vehicle applications.
Application. Designed as a universal muffler with 2.25-inch offset inlet and outlet, it fits a wide range of vehicles including those with 4 or 6 cylinder engines, classic muscle cars, late model muscle cars, street rods, street/strip vehicles, and trucks/SUVs.
