The Flowmaster 70 Series Big Block II Dual In/Dual Out Oval Muffler; 2.25-Inch Inlet/2.25-Inch Outlet is engineered to improve horsepower, torque, and engine efficiency while producing a mild exhaust tone. It is ideal for trucks, SUVs, motorhomes, and high-performance street vehicles where space allows. This muffler also minimizes interior resonance for a more refined driving experience.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. Constructed from 16 gauge aluminized steel, this muffler features full MIG welding for enhanced durability. Its black high-temperature paint finish resists corrosion and maintains appearance under extreme exhaust heat. The oval shape and expanded case design incorporate Flowmaster's Delta Flow® technology to deliver improved sound control and performance.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. Installation requires some adaptation as this universal muffler may not directly fit all vehicles. It is designed for slip-fit and clamp-on or weld-on inlet and outlet connections. New hangers are needed but not included. Basic mechanical skills and standard exhaust tools are recommended for installation.
