Description
Direct Fit Replacement. The Flowmaster Direct Fit Catalytic Converter; Federal 49-State is designed to replace the original catalytic converter in select Chevrolet and GMC vehicles. It reduces harmful emissions by converting exhaust gases into less harmful substances, ensuring compliance with federal environmental standards while maintaining vehicle performance.
Durable Construction And Appearance. This catalytic converter features a stainless steel body constructed for strength and corrosion resistance, complemented by an aluminum heat shield for added protection. The ceramic substrate provides efficient filtration, and the natural finish offers a professional, OEM-quality appearance.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with direct bolt-on flanged connections requiring no modifications or drilling. Some models may require removal of components such as the cross member, but the converter fits directly in place using factory mounting points.
Warranty. Comes with a 25,000-mile emissions warranty and a 50,000-mile or 5-year exterior casing warranty.
Application. Specifically fits 1999 to 2006 Chevrolet and GMC Sierra 1500 models equipped with the 4.3L V6, 4.8L V8, or 5.3L V8 engines. Designed for models with the flat spot in the OE middle pipe.
