Description

The Flowmaster 70 Series Big Block II Dual In/Dual Out Oval Muffler; 2.25-Inch Inlet/2.25-Inch Outlet is engineered to optimize exhaust flow while delivering a mild exterior sound ideal for street use. It improves horsepower, torque, and overall engine efficiency, making it an excellent choice for trucks, SUVs, tow vehicles, and high-performance street cars when space permits.
Construction and Appearance. This chambered muffler is constructed from durable 16-gauge aluminized steel with full MIG welding for long-lasting strength and corrosion resistance. It has an enlarged body featuring a sleek oval shape coated with high-temperature black paint for enhanced heat resistance and a refined look.
Installation. As a universal muffler, some adaptation is required during installation since it is not a direct OEM replacement. It features slip-fit inlet and outlet connections and requires new hangers, which are not included. Installation is moderately challenging but does not require drilling.
Application. Designed for universal fitment, this muffler may require adapters or modifications for use with OEM exhaust systems. It is suitable for classic muscle cars, street/strip vehicles, and trucks/SUVs, providing compatibility across multiple vehicle types where specific OEM fit is not essential.
