The Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow Offset/Dual Out Oval Muffler features a 2.50-inch inlet and 2.25-inch outlet engineered to deliver an aggressive sound with enhanced scavenging for improved exhaust flow. This muffler is ideal for street, strip, and off-road applications where a balance of sound and performance is desired.

      Construction and Appearance. Made from durable 16 gauge aluminized steel with fully MIG welded seams, it is finished in black high-temperature paint for corrosion resistance. Its two-chamber Delta Flow technology utilizes an offset inlet and dual outlets to minimize resonance and create a milder exterior tone than typical chambered mufflers.

      Installation. This muffler installs using slip-fit connections with clamp-on or weld-on options. It requires new hangers which are not included, and some adaptation may be required during installation. No drilling is typically necessary.
