Description
Aggressive Race Muffler. The Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Force Center/Center Race Muffler; 3.50-Inch Inlet/3.50-Inch Outlet delivers an aggressive sound and effective exhaust flow management for race and performance vehicles. It provides substantial decibel reduction compared to open headers while maintaining excellent power characteristics, making it ideal for racing applications that require mufflers.
Construction and Appearance. This muffler is made from durable fully welded 16 gauge 409 stainless steel and features a two-chamber design that incorporates Flowmaster’s proven Delta Flow technology. It is finished with high-temperature black paint for enhanced heat resistance and durability, with a sleek oval shape.
Installation. The muffler has slip-fit inlet and outlet connections designed for clamp-on or weld-on installation. It is a universal fit requiring some adaptation during installation. New hangers are necessary and must be sourced separately, as they are not included.
Application. This muffler is designed to fit classic and late model muscle cars, race vehicles, and street/strip setups, with some adaptation needed due to its universal design.
