The AVS® Aeroskin® LightShield™ color-match bug shield is engineered for comprehensive front-end protection and exceptional styling, featuring a robust construction, stylish paint-matched finish, and integrated LED lighting.
Construction-wise, the Aeroskin LightShield is manufactured from AVS’ proprietary Dura-Flex® 2000 TPO material. As the name suggests, this rugged plastic is highly durable yet flexible, absorbing impacts and abrasions without cracking, chipping, or fatigue. That means the Aeroskin Lightshield will be unphased when encountered with kicked-up rocks, flying insects, and other road debris.
Within each Aeroskin LightShield are five amber LED lights recessed into its contoured, low-profile design. These markers serve various purposes, which include increasing other drivers’ visibility of your vehicle in poor conditions and significantly boosting exterior styling for standout aesthetics.
The Aeroskin LightShield color-match differs from the traditional Aeroskin LightShield in its finish, as it foregoes the textured plastic for a smooth, professionally paint-matched exterior. AVS’ painters utilize only the finest quality, automotive-grade paint to ensure as close a match to your vehicle’s factory paint code as possible.
The AVS Aeroskin LightShield installation is quick and easy using the included 3M double-sided adhesive. Just clean and prep the panel, peel the adhesive backing, and install the LightShield onto the hood. No cutting, trimming, or modifications to the hood are required. The installation is complete once wired to a running light power source and grounded to the body using the included harness.
