Description
Edge Combo Kit . The Edge Pulsar LT Inline Control Module and Insight CTS3 Monitor Combo Kit is a great way to get more out of your Chevrolet Silverado 2500 without the need of a custom tune. The Pulsar LT offers you the ability to adjust throttle response, tire size, gear ratio, TPMS, and your top speed limiter all from your steering wheel controls. While the included Insight CTS3 Monitor will allow you to monitor all your Sierra's critical systems.
Adjust Throttle Response. The Edge Pulsar LT Inline Control Module allows you to adjust your vehicles throttle response to fit your driving needs. All modern vehicles use a drive-by-wire system that controls the throttle body electronically, similar to a dimmer switch. With the Edge Pulsar LT Inline Control Module installed you can reduce throttle responsiveness by 15% or increase its responsiveness by up to 65%.
Corrects Speedometer / Odometer. If you have installed a set of tires that are larger or smaller than original equipment tires, or if you have installed a ring and pinion gear set with a different gear ratio, Edge's Pulsar LT Inline Control Module allows you to correct your speedometer and odometer readings. The vehicle’s computer calculates your speed based on the diameter of the stock tires. If you’ve installed taller or shorter tires, or changed the rear gear ratio, the vehicle’s computer doesn’t know how fast your vehicle is actually going. As a result, the speedometer/odometer readings will not be accurate.
Manual DPF Regeneration. The Manual Regeneration feature of the Edge Pulsar LT Inline Control Module allows you to manually clear out the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF). Completing a manual regeneration cycle will clear the soot mass in the filter, and lower exhaust back pressure to improve exhaust flow. The engine must be at operating temperature.
Automatic Transmission Relearn. Most modern vehicles are equipped with an automatic transmission that will “learn” while you drive. Sometimes when these vehicles are programmed with an aggressive tune, the transmissions act differently. The Transmission Relearn feature of the Edge Pulsar LT Inline Control Module forces the transmission to relearn and accommodate the new tune. After the relearn commands are sent there might be some clunks, bumps, and/or short flares, especially during the shift from third to fourth gear. This is normal.
High Idle Control. The Edge Pulsar LT Inline Control Module allows the engine to idle at adjustable RPM levels between 700 RPM to 1100 RPM.
Speed Limiter. The Edge Pulsar LT Inline Control Module allows the speed limiter to be adjusted between 98 and 140 MPH.
TPMS - Tire Pressure Monitor System. The Edge Pulsar LT Inline Control Module allows the TPMS inflation value to be adjusted between 40 and 99 (PSI).
Insight CTS3 Monitor. The Edge Insight CTS3 Monitor allows you to read data directly from your OBD-II diagnostic port in real time to accurately monitor up to eight of your vehicles critical systems at the same time. The virtual gauges can be easily switched between US or Metric. With a full color, 5-inch, easy to read, capacitive touch screen with auto-dimming, the CTS3 features highly customizable gauges and backgrounds.
Data Logging. The robust data logging feature of the Insight CTS3 Gauge Monitor makes it easy to create an accurate, comprehensive picture of your vehicle's condition, allowing you to make in-depth evaluation of your engines performance. The Insight CTS3 Gauge Monitor can store hours of data in up to 10 unique logs straight from your vehicle's PCM/ECM.
