      Description

      Edelbrock part #2716-CP Performer EPS intake manifold is designed for 262-400 c.i.d. Chevy V8's with 96 and later Vortec (L31) cast iron or Edelbrock E-Tec aluminum heads. The Performer EPS dual-plane manifold is optimized to deliver superior performance with Edelbrock square-bore Performer Series or AVS2 series carburetors. The runner design is "tuned" for peak torque at 3500 rpm on a 350-inch engine and is ideal for power from off-idle to 5500 rpm. Dyno tests showed gains averaging 5+ ft-lbs. of torque from 3000 to 4500 rpm for more performance where you need it most. Match with a dependable Edelbrock square-bore carburetor for maximum performance gains. The PN 2716-CP version comes with a brilliant Chrome Plasma finish that is durable and easy to maintain. The Plasma finishes are applied by a fully automated 7 stage prewash and 4 stage finish. A durable clear powder coat finishes the process.


      Installation Notes: Manifold ht: A-3.95", B-5.02"; Carb pad height: 4.52"; Carb recommendations: Edelbrock AVS2, Performer Series. Port exit dimensions: 2.05" tall with slanted side walls; Recommended intake gasket: Edelbrock #7235 or GM #89017465; Use RTV sealant to properly seal end seals, such as Edelbrock High Temp Silicone sealant #1076, DO NOT USE END SEALS GASKETS.; Use #8516 Edelbrock bolt kit which includes hardened washers to prevent galling of the alumnum manifold; Sealant must be used on intake bolt threads if the threads extend into lifter valley or coolant passage. Will not fit under stock Corvette hood. Use Edelbrock Vortec throttle bracket #8032.
