      Description

      Performance Distributor Upgrade. The Edelbrock Max-Fire Distributor is a ready-to-run ignition upgrade designed for Chrysler 273-318-340-360 V-8 engines. It replaces older points triggered distributors, delivering improved ignition performance and reliability for enhanced engine operation.

      Construction and Appearance. This distributor is CNC machined from durable 6061-T6 aluminum with O-ring grooves for a secure fit in machined engine blocks. The cap and rotor are constructed from 30% glass filled polyester for durability and resistance to carbon tracking, featuring brass contacts and a stainless steel rotor spring to maximize conductivity.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward with a simple three-wire hookup that does not require an external ignition control box. No drilling or special modifications are necessary for proper fitting.
